Biography of Edward Linfoot

Edward Linfoot (* 8. June 1905 in Sheffield; † 14. October 1982 in Cambridge) was a mathematician. He was 77 years old. His education included Balliol College, King Edward VII School, University of Oxford, University of Göttingen and Princeton University. He worked at Cambridge Observatory, University of Bristol, Balliol College and University of Cambridge. He was buried at Ascension Parish Burial Ground.
