Biography of Elmore Leonard

Elmore Leonard (* 11. October 1925 in New Orleans; † 20. August 2013 in Detroit) was an american novelist and screenwriter. He was 87 years old. His education included University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy and University of Detroit Mercy. His faith was Catholicism. He received 8 awards, including Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best Novel, Best Crime Novel in Swedish Translation. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Greenwood Cemetery.
