George Townshend, 1. Marquess Townshend (* 28. February 1724 in London; † 14. September 1807 in Raynham Hall) was a britischer Adliger und Offizier. He was 83 years old. He was married to Anne Montgomery and Charlotte Townshend, Viscountess Townshend. He had at least 8 children (4 sons and 4 daughters). His education included St John's College and Eton College. He was buried at Church of St Mary, East Raynham.
