Biography of Herbert H. Turner

Herbert H. Turner (* 13. August 1861 in Leeds; † 20. August 1930 in Stockholm) was a britischer Astronom und Seismologe. He was 69 years old. His education included University of London, Clifton College, Trinity College and Leeds Modern School. He worked at University of Oxford. His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society, Bruce Medal and honorary doctorate from the University of Strasbourg.
