Biography of Hermann Roesler

Hermann Roesler (* 18. December 1834 in Lauf an der Pegnitz; † 2. December 1894 in Bolzano) was a deutscher Nationalökonom. He was 59 years old. His education included Melanchthon-Gymnasium Nürnberg, University of Erlangen and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. He worked at University of Rostock and Government of Meiji Japan. His faith was Lutheranism. He received 4 awards, including honorary doctorate, Order of Franz Joseph. He was buried at cemetery of Bozen.
