Biography of Isaac Schapera

Isaac Schapera (* 23. June 1905 in Garies; † 26. June 2003 in London) was a britischer Anthropologe, Ethnologe und Afrikanist. He was 98 years old. His education included London School of Economics and Political Science and University of Cape Town. He worked at London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Chicago and University of Toronto. His awards include Fellow of the British Academy, Fellow of the Royal Society of South Africa and Huxley Memorial Medal.
