Biography of James Gregory

James Gregory (* 1. January 1638 in The Manse, Drumoak Kirk, Drumoak; † 1. January 1675 in Edinburgh) was a schottischer Mathematiker und Astronom. He was 37 years old. His education included University of St Andrews, University of Padua, University of Aberdeen, Aberdeen Grammar School and Marischal College. He worked at University of St Andrews and University of Edinburgh. His faith was Church of Scotland. He was awarded the Fellow of the Royal Society.
