Biography of Jean Bethke Elshtain

Jean Bethke Elshtain (* 6. January 1941 in Windsor; † 11. August 2013 in Nashville) was an uS-amerikanische Philosophin und Politikwissenschaftlerin. She was 72 years old. Her education included University of Wisconsin–Madison, Colorado State University, University of Colorado and Brandeis University. She worked at Vanderbilt University, University of Chicago and Georgetown University. Her faith was Lutheranism. Her awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and Democracy Service Medal. Her cause of death was heart failure. She was buried at Colorado.
