Biography of John Edwin Sandys

John Edwin Sandys (* 19. May 1844 in Leicester; † 6. July 1922 in Cambridge) was a britischer klassischer Philologe. He was 78 years old. His education included St John's College and Repton School. He worked at University of Cambridge. He received 6 awards, including Commander of the Order of the Redeemer, honorary doctor of the University of Athens. He was buried at Ascension Parish Burial Ground.
