John le Carré (* 19. October 1931 in Poole; † 12. December 2020 in Royal Cornwall Hospital) was a british novelist and spy. He was 89 years old. He was married to Valerie Eustace. His education included Lincoln College, Sherborne School, University of Bern and St Andrew's School, Pangbourne. He received 10 awards, including James Tait Black Memorial Prize, The Grand Master. His cause of death was pneumonia.
