Biography of John M. Shalikashvili

John Shalikashvili (* 27. June 1936 in Warsaw; † 23. July 2011 in Madigan Army Medical Center) was an united States general. He was 75 years old. His education included Peoria High School, Bradley University, Elliott School of International Affairs, Naval War College and United States Army War College. He received 10 awards, including Bronze Star Medal, Legionnaire of Legion of Merit. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
