Biography of John Schlesinger

John Schlesinger (* 16. February 1926 in London; † 25. July 2003 in Palm Springs) was an english film and stage director. He was 77 years old. His education included Balliol College, St Edmund's School and Uppingham School. He received 8 awards, including Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Directors Guild of America Award. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Willesden Jewish Cemetery.
