Biography of John W. Cornforth

John Cornforth (* 7. September 1917 in Sydney; † 8. December 2013 in Brighton) was an australian-British chemist. He was 96 years old. He was married to Rita Cornforth. His education included University of Sydney, St Catherine's College, Sydney Boys High School and University of Oxford. He received 10 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Commander of the Order of the British Empire. He was buried at Clayton Wood Natural Burial Ground.
