Biography of Magnus Hestenes

Magnus Hestenes (* 13. February 1906 in Bricelyn; † 31. May 1991 in Los Angeles) was an uS-amerikanischer Mathematiker. He was 85 years old. His education included University of Chicago, University of Wisconsin–Madison and St. Olaf College. He worked at University of Chicago and University of California, Los Angeles. He was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship.
