Biography of Manfred Lachs

Manfred Lachs (* 21. April 1914 in Ivano-Frankivsk; † 14. January 1993 in The Hague) was a polnischer Diplomat und Rechtswissenschaftler. He was 78 years old. His education included London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Lorraine, Jagiellonian University and Lomonosov Moscow State University. He worked at University of Warsaw, University of Groningen and The Hague Academy of International Law. He received 10 awards, including Commander of the Order of Polonia Restituta, Officer of the Order of Polonia Restituta. He was buried at Powązki Military Cemetery.
