Biography of Max Ferdinand Perutz

Max Perutz (* 19. May 1914 in Vienna; † 6. February 2002 in Cambridge) was an austrian-born British molecular biologist. He was 87 years old. His education included Peterhouse, University of Vienna, University of Cambridge and Theresianum. He received 10 awards, including Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Copley Medal. His cause of death was cancer. He was buried at Ascension Parish Burial Ground.
