Biography of Paul Cohn

Paul Cohn (* 8. January 1924 in Hamburg; † 20. April 2006 in London) was a britischer Mathematiker. He was 82 years old. His education included University of Cambridge, Trinity College, Schule Alsterdorfer Straße, Stadtteilschule Winterhude and Talmud Tora Schule. He worked at University College London, Queen Mary University of London, University of California, Berkeley, University of Chicago, University of Alberta, Bar-Ilan University, Université de Nancy, University of Manchester, Princeton University and Bedford College. His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society, Senior Berwick Prize and Paul R. Halmos - Lester R. Ford Awards.
