Biography of Richard V. Southwell

Richard V. Southwell (* 2. July 1888 in Norwich; † 9. December 1970 in Nottingham) was a britischer Ingenieurwissenschaftler für Mechanik. He was 82 years old. His education included University of Cambridge, Trinity College and Norwich School. He worked at University of Oxford and Imperial College London. He received 9 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Timoshenko Medal.
