Biography of Richard van der Riet Woolley

Richard van der Riet Woolley (* 24. April 1906 in Weymouth; † 24. December 1986 in Somerset West) was a britischer Astronom. He was 80 years old. His education included University of Cape Town, Gonville and Caius College and Allhallows College. He worked at Cambridge Observatory. He received 5 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
