Robert Edwards (* 27. September 1925 in Batley; † 10. April 2013 in Cambridge) was an english physiologist and pioneer in reproductive medicine and in-vitro fertilisation. He was 87 years old. He was married to Ruth Fowler Edwards. His education included Bangor University and University of Edinburgh. He received 10 awards, including Knight Bachelor, Commander of the Order of the British Empire. His cause of death was disease. He was buried at Elmwood Cemetery.
