American electronic music pioneer and inventor
Robert Moog (* 23. May 1934 in New York City; † 21. August 2005 in Asheville) was an american electronic music pioneer and inventor. He was 71 years old. His education included Queens College, Cornell University, Cornell University College of Engineering, Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, Berklee College of Music and Bronx High School of Science. His awards include Grammy Trustees Award, National Inventors Hall of Fame and Polar Music Prize. His cause of death was brain cancer.
