Biography of Sophus Lie

Sophus Lie (* 17. December 1842 in Nordfjordeid; † 18. February 1899 in Christiania) was a norwegischer Mathematiker. He was 56 years old. He had at least 1 child (1 daughter). His education included University of Oslo and Hartvig Nissen School. He worked at Leipzig University and University of Oslo. His faith was Lutheranism.
