Thor Heyerdahl (* 6. October 1914 in Larvik; † 18. April 2002 in Colla Micheri) was a norwegian anthropologist and adventurer. He was 87 years old. He was married to Liv Rockefeller and Yvonne Dedekam-Simonsen. He had at least 2 children (2 sons). He studied at University of Oslo. His faith was atheism. He received 10 awards, including Fridtjof Nansen Award for outstanding research, historical-philosophical class, Empowering award. His cause of death was brain cancer.
