Biography of Viggo Brun

Viggo Brun (* 13. October 1885 in Lier; † 15. August 1978 in Drøbak) was a norwegischer Mathematiker. He was 92 years old. His education included University of Oslo and University of Göttingen. He worked at University of Oslo and Norwegian Institute of Technology. His awards include Fridtjof Nansen Award of Excellence, Mathematics-Natural sciences class and Gunnerus Medal. He was buried at Drøbak Church.
