Viktor Gorbatko (* 3. December 1934 in Ventsy; † 17. May 2017 in Moscow) was a soviet cosmonaut. He was 82 years old. His education included Krasnodar Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots named after Hero of the Soviet Union A.K. Serov and Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering Academy. He received 9 awards, including Order of Lenin, Order of the Red Star. His cause of death was stomach cancer. He was buried at Federal Military Memorial Cemetery.
