Wojciech Jaruzelski (* 6. July 1923 in Kurów; † 25. May 2014 in Warsaw) was a polish military and political official, leader of the Polish People's Republic from 1981 to 1989. He was 90 years old. He was married to Barbara Jaruzelska. He studied at General Staff Academy. He received 10 awards, including Knight of the Order of Polonia Restituta, Order of Lenin. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Powązki Military Cemetery.
