Alicia Markova (* 1. December 1910 in London; † 2. December 2004 in Bath) was a british ballerina, choreographer, director and teacher of classical ballet. She was 94 years old. Her awards include Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Critics' Circle Award for Distinguished Service to the Arts and Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Award. Her cause of death was stroke.
