Biography of Florence Bascom

Florence Bascom (* 14. July 1862 in Williamstown; † 18. June 1945 in Williamstown) was an uS-amerikanische Geologin. She was 82 years old. Her education included University of Wisconsin–Madison, Johns Hopkins University and Williams College. She worked at United States Geological Survey, Rockford University, Bryn Mawr College and Ohio State University. She was awarded the Fellow of the Geological Society of America. Her cause of death was cerebrovascular disease. She was buried at Williams College Cemetery.
