Biography of Johnny Clegg

Johnny Clegg (* 7. June 1953 in Bacup; † 16. July 2019 in Johannesburg) was a british and South African musician, anthropologist and anti-apartheid icon. He was 66 years old. He had 2 children. He studied at University of the Witwatersrand. His faith was Judaism. His awards include Order of Ikhamanga, Officer of the Order of the British Empire and honorary doctor of the University of the Witwatersrand. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer. He was buried at Westpark Cemetery.
