Biography of Svein Rosseland

Svein Rosseland (* 31. March 1894 in Kvam Municipality; † 19. January 1985 in Bærum Municipality) was a norwegischer Astrophysiker. He was 90 years old. He studied at University of Oslo. He worked at Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences and University of Oslo. His awards include Knight Grand Officer of the Order of Saint Olav, Fridtjof Nansen Award of Excellence, Mathematics-Natural sciences class and Commander of the Order of St. Olav‎.
