Biography of Samuel Eliot Morison

Samuel Eliot Morison (* 9. July 1887 in Boston; † 15. May 1976 in Boston) was an uS-amerikanischer Admiral, Biograph und Lokalhistoriker Neuenglands. He was 88 years old. His education included Noble and Greenough School, École Libre des Sciences Politiques, Harvard University and St. Paul's School. He worked at Harvard University, University of California, Berkeley and University of Oxford. He received 6 awards, including Legionnaire of Legion of Merit, Balzan Prize. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery.
